Jennifer is an Associate Director with Westcourt Capital Corporation’s Asset Management & Client Services team and is registered with Westcourt as a Dealing Representative. Jennifer’s core responsibilities include working closely with the Portfolio Managers in both the construction and monitoring of diversified investment portfolios designed to achieve the specific goals of Westcourt’s clients.
Jennifer began her career in 2008 as an Investment Banking Analyst with Desjardins Securities in Toronto where she acted as financial advisor for sell-side M&A and IPO engagements across a variety of sectors. She was responsible for evaluating various strategic alternatives, valuation, due diligence, preparation of marketing documents and ongoing interaction with clients and interested buyers.
In 2010, Jennifer joined Aston Hill Financial, a Toronto-based diversified asset management company. As a Sales Associate, she was instrumental in helping to grow the firm’s AUM in excess of $7 billion by initiating and building relationships with key investment advisors. In 2013, Jennifer was promoted to Portfolio Analyst, where she worked directly with the President and CIO. In this role, she assisted in the management of ~$3B worth of subadvisor assets across three fund mandates, providing support in investment making decisions across various lines of business and industry sectors.
In 2015, Jennifer moved to Nashville, TN to undertake a new challenge with an executive level operations and development position in the music industry. As Director of Business Development, Jennifer managed and oversaw all incoming and ongoing business opportunities and developments from a financial, operational, marketing and branding perspective. Jennifer has since returned to Toronto and joined Westcourt Capital in the fall of 2018.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business. She holds her Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and is currently working toward her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
