Albert supports Westcourt Capital Corporation’s client reporting function and is responsible for maintaining and preparing consolidated investment reporting for Westcourt’s largest clients.
While completing the University of Waterloo’s Co-op Program in Mathematics, Albert completed work terms with Cambridge Global Asset Management, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and two with TD Securities. At Cambridge, Albert was an Equity Research Associate where he assisted in conducting industry analysis on U.S. companies, building financial models, and executing equity option trades. As an Electronic Trading Analyst at Merrill Lynch, Albert reconciled monthly trading activities, prepared performance reports, conducted market trend analysis on Canadian equity markets, and leveraged his SQL and VBA skills to conduct data mining on client trading behavior. In the Capital Markets Risk group at TD Securities, Albert developed VBA macros to complete the automation of daily trade checks for commodity and bond derivatives and validated trading parameters on a variety of instruments. As a Business Analyst in TD’s Calypso Support group, Albert gained hands-on experience with trading software, setting up trade books and booking interest rate swap trades.
Albert graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2017 with a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) co-op degree. He has completed CFA Level II and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement.
Albert is fluent in Mandarin and English.
