Westcourt is an exempt-market dealer, meaning it sells securities that are exempt from prospectus requirements. Investors are driven to seek these alternatives because the past decade was largely a lost one for stocks. And while bonds have enjoyed a 30-year bull market, that party appears over now that interest rates have touched bottom and are inching up again.
