Our Services

Westcourt Capital is not an investment fund manager. We do not invest our clients' money directly.

Rather, we act as an intermediary between our clients and the issuers of conservative alternative private securities. Our primary service is to conduct end-to-end qualitative and quantitative due diligence on alternative investment managers and provide recommendations to our clients regarding products that suit their alternative investment philosophy and time horizons. We therefore see our duty as the provision of objective recommendations to our clients rather than as a sales agent for investment managers.

Our clients do not pay us commissions or fees for our services. Westcourt collects commissions (often referred to as "finder fees") from the investment funds we recommend. This poses an obvious potential conflict of interest: we are paid by the very managers on whose investments we provide research and recommendations. We address this potential conflict head-on through full disclosure to our clients.

We disclose not only the full extent of any commissions we collect as a result of a client investing in a particular investment fund, but also the fees that similar funds that we do not recommend offer in the same space. Additionally, we commission independent, third-party analysis by a Chartered Financial Analyst on every fund we recommend. The resulting reports address not only the quality of the investments involved, but also a comparative study of commissions offered by these funds, to ensure that Westcourt's incentives are aligned with those of our clients.
